Frank Young, an artist living with cerebral palsy, has spent over ten years quietly organizing and delivering hot meals to lonely or disabled elderly Davis residents. Alongside his wife, Huei Young, he braves all weather conditions to ensure that those who cannot leave their homes still receive proper nourishment and companionship. In recognition of this tireless volunteerism, Assemblymember Mariko Yamada invited the couple to Sacramento on December 4, 2009, and awarded them certificates of appreciation on the Assembly floor—celebrating their remarkable contributions to the well-being of the local community.
