Huei’s City Garden Tour

On Saturday, August 26, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, visitors explored both the north greenbelt section — officially designated “Huei’s City Garden” — and the private Asian garden at 234 Luz Place.

Donations of $25 ($15 for students) went to the city fund dedicated to the ongoing care and maintenance of the greenbelt section enjoyed by all.

2017 Garden Tour

Garden Tour - April 19th- May 20th

The 2017 Garden Tour ran from April 19th through May 20th. It was dedicated to Frank Young in honor of his birthday month of April.

Garden Vision 2012 – Medical Vision Technology

Third-annual spring showcase of Huei’s Asian garden, raising funds to provide free eye exams & eyeglasses for local children and seniors. Tickets were $25 and viewings were scheduled throughout the season.

STEAC Garden Fundraiser – April 24, 2005

Huei Young opened her Oriental garden for a Short-Term Emergency Aid Committee (STEAC) benefit, offering Asian finger food and guided tours. Proceeds supported emergency food, clothing, and shelter services for Yolo County families, with tickets sold through STEAC and Redwood Barn Nursery.
